Immigration Evaluation

As a daughter of an immigrant mother, I witnessed first-hand the many challenges that my mom faced when coming to this country with minimal support as well as having to endure the hardships of learning the process of obtaining legal citizenship.

As a bilingual therapist, I have many years of experience working with clients in therapy who have experienced many emotional and financial struggles related to their immigration journey in addition to receiving training on conducting immigration evaluations. As a human, I understand that navigating the path towards ensuring legal status can feel overwhelming and daunting which is why my goal is to ensure that your immigrations evaluation is treated with compassion, professionalism and cultural humility.

I offer immigration evaluations for the following circumstances:

U-Visa

Violence Against Women Act

Extreme Hardship

T-Visa

Asylum

The Process

Please note that while a psychological immigration evaluation is an important step in obtaining legal status in the US, it does not guarantee success as the ultimate decision falls on numerous factors. However, these evaluations can help a court determine whether an individual and/or their family can lawfully remain in the U.S, therefore finding a therapist who can conduct a comprehensive and thoughtful evaluation is very important.
